Let's talk pricing...what are we looking at?
That's a very complicated question! But our sales team would be more than happy to walk you through all the steps and make the process as painless as possible. From style of garments to quantities to number of colors in your design to how many locations on the garment you want decorated...it all comes together for an accurate quote. Are there any minimums?
For screenprint, our minimum is 12 pieces and we have price-breaks basically every dozen until you get to 144+. If your design is 4 or 5 colors, that minimum goes up to 24. For 6+ colors, minimum is 72. For embroidery, we simply have a $15 sewing minimum. For most left-chest designs, 3-5 garments would surpass the minimum. For promotional products, it depends on the product. Many have steep discounts at higher quantities, so it's definitely worth getting pricing for the quantity you want AND the nearest price breaks!
What about setups?
Great question! For screenprint, it's $15 per color for setup. Reorders are $7.50 per color. Larger orders of 144+ do get discounted setups. For embroidery, we go through a digitizing process to create your design to look good in thread and so the embroidery machine knows how to sew it. This is $10 per thousand stitches and is a one-time cost. For promotional products, it depends on the product and what you're looking for. HELP! I Don'T know anything about design...what am i looking for?
Our team of graphic designers are here to help! We primarily use Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc). Raster files (jpg, gif, png, etc) are made up of pixels and are absolutely necessary for web use but they don't transition well to larger formats often because they can't be increased in size without losing resolution. However, raster is great for getting some really cool effects and printing photo-realistic images. Vector files (ai, eps, some pdfs, etc) are phenomenal for holding detail as they aren't made up of pixels, but lines. Vectors are clean and perfect for logo design. We design in both mediums depending on what your needs entail! If you already have a design from another designer, send it over and we'll give you all the pertinent information!
What's the turnaround time?
For both screenprint and embroidery, our standard turnaround is 10 working days. If this is a new project that needs some back-and-forth with our art department, you may see minor changes in turnaround. If you need a project done sooner, contact us and let us check availability for you! For promotional products, most are 10-20 working days, depending on the product and where it needs to ship in from.
Speaking of shipping...do you ship projects out-of-town?
Absolutely! We have clients all over the U.S. and international that we ship to consistently. Whether you're near or far, we can ship your preferred method (UPS, FedEx, USPS) wherever you need!
How do we pay for our order?
At the time that you place your order, we'll collect a deposit of at least half down. That will get the job in the queue and art in production. When the job is ready for pickup or delivery, the other half will be due. We accept cash, check and card. For all card payments, we do add a 3% processing fee.
What about proofs?
Once the job has started, we'll usually have an art proof emailed to you within a week or so. This will be your logo/design digitally mocked up on an image of the product you chose. You respond with an approval or any changes and we get it right into production! If you order either screenprint or embroidery and are local, we are happy to schedule press-checks where you come in personally to see the first garment completed.
I've seen screen-prints peel off of shirts before...will that happen to mine?
Absolutely not. First of all, that is usually an issue of having heat-transfer designs. They crack and peel after only a couple of washes. Or a common issue with some prints is the ink not being cured correctly after printing. We use the finest in plastisol inks and have decades of expertise with tons of fabrics/blends to make sure that your design stays where you want it.
Are there other options besides plastisol?
Without a doubt! Plastisol is the most common and holds color the best, but we have many other options to get the look you want on your garment. Nova-based, water-based, discharge, and metallic inks are just a few of the other options available. We also have the ability to apply foil to designs for that extra shine! Let us know the look you want and we can help you pick what would work best!
Can i bring in my own garments and get them decorated?
Absolutely! Though we aren't responsible for your garments or the ways certain blends may react to the inks/curing process.
